I've made it to Bulgaria!

As when we left Germany, here too we de-planed via a bus. The difference here is that it was pouring rain! After passing customs with hardly a blink, I was met by John (producer) and Ivo (driver / locations). They whisked me into town, through the crowds of a recently finished soccer match, to my apartment. I got my cell phone and per diem and was told the fridge had been stocked and was ready to go. So much for the stocked fridge! Otherwise things are comfortable. After calling home, I slept from 1AM until 5AM, woke up until 7AM and fell back to sleep until 11:30AM. Whew! I guess that's what it's going to be like for starters. Now at 12:30PM, I'm off to have lunch and check out this [still raining] town...
