Well today started with a perfectly sunny morning, got pretty cloudy and cold mid day and ended with another fine sunset. Trees are starting to turn and winter is in the air (whatever that feels like).
I spent last nights "couldn't sleep" time re-reading and re-hashing the script and hopefully I'm getting a bit of a handle on some of the interior action scenes. Of course, this is necessary for set design. I spent the morning trying to hone in on the "bat effects" requirements (I read it as 99 shots) and after lunch went and toured some possible "base camp" locations. Upon returning, I had continuing conversations with my production designer about the doctors laboratory set.
I was surprised to see the Iranian consulate as I drove home tonight, but upon reflection it made sense.
The girls have been asking about my apartment... Here's the kitchen, dining room and my bedroom, all taken the night I got here (so they still look nice and tidy).
I'm hoping to do a little "sketch up" mockup this evening so... off to that.
